MEF SCHOOLS
State School And Community Service Projects
In State School and Social Service Project carried out
with the support of the Guidance and Psychological Counselling
Department, the students of MEF Schools share the environment
of students in the less affluent state schools and homeless
children, define their needs and problems, then find creative
solutions for them and execute these solutions.
In the State School Project, voluntary students of the
6th grade of MEF Elementary School work together to improve
the physical environment and means of a state school chosen
by the District Directorship of National Education and
to supply their needs. In the Social Service Project for
the homeless children, the 9th, 10th and 11th grade high
school students present examples of working methodologically
to serve their community effectively. They define the
needs by means of excursions, observation, survey and
interview, determine the priorities according to needs,
prepare action plans, make task allocations and carry
out action plans.
