Armadillo has been operating in the Russian parcel and freight delivery market for 15 years and is a recognized industry leader. Armadillo provides parcel and freight delivery to over 1500 destinations within Russia as well as internationally.

Armadillo’s regional network consists of branches in Russia’s major cities including St. Petersburg, Barnaul, Chelyabinsk, Ekaterinburg, Kazan, Khabarovsk, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Saratov, Tyumen, Ufa, Vladivostok, Volgograd, Voronezh and Yaroslavl, as well as 60 regional agents. More than 1000 highly skilled employees provide timely and reliable delivery.

Recent developments

In 2005 Armadillo Group opened branches in Novosibirsk, Ufa, Volgograd, Chelyabinsk, Perm and Tyumen.

In 2006 Armadillo Group opened another 6 branches: in Saratov, Barnaul, Omsk, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk and Vladivostok. The total number of branches is 22. Branch network development will enable Armadillo Group to further strengthen leadership positions in parcel and freight delivery in Russia.

In September 2006, Armadillo Group launched DPD Classic service which is a reliable and cost-effective solution for international document and parcel delivery from Russia.

In 2006 Armadillo Group turnover rose to over 1500 MRUR /in excess of 45 MEUR/ (estimation), exceeding its 2005 turnover by 52%, having delivered over 2,8 million parcels for 11 500 customers, the total weight shipped was 70 000 tons.
